"Sloppy quarterback play"

Is this greasy haired fat fuck of a HC serious?

When's the last time you heard Belichick say Tom Brady was "sloppy"?

Or McCarthy call Rodgers "Sloppy"?

Has Tomlin every called Ben "Sloppy"?

Last time I checked, a HC can call a timeout whenever he wants too, preventing a delay of game penalty.

Or I guess he was to busy trying to find ways to throw the team under the bus instead of looking at the game clock.

That little bitch of an owner we have running the organization needs to realize the mistake he made going with a career Oline coach as the next HC of the franchise and be done with him sooner rather than later.

Holy fuck am I done with McAdoo having any part of the Giants, get him out so he can go coach the Oline in Cleveland if he's lucky.

Oh no it's ok because he started the press conference with "this is all on me"

Eli wasn't perfect but this was not the game to call him out on. He was the playing his ass off in that fourth quarter under awful circumstances

He can seriously go fuck himself... I was one of the guys who stood up for TC, but this asshole gets nothing from me. He calls a horrible offensive game plan, is slow to adjust to the defense and now throws his team captain QB under the bus! If Brandon Marshall makes two plays last night this game is a totally different story.

I thought Eli played a heck of a game under horrible circumstances... I didn't watch the last few minutes of the game and certainly not the post game press conference but this strikes me as fucking cowardly... For all of Eli's faults, he's not the problem here....

electing to go for it was a pretty bad move. I joked in the game thread that eli took the delay of game on purpose to force mcadoo to correct his mistake. Im only half serious but maybe mcadoo thinks he did too and that's why he's calling him out.

I felt the same way. Bad call, not a bad penalty. I also thought maybe they were hoping for an off sides to get to the one, and from there a 4th down attempt makes more sense.

Agreed....Eli wasn't watching the clock close enough on that play because he was doing the math on how to get the ball to a playmaker in 2.7 seconds before two of the Lions would cream him.

In his entire career...Manning has NEVER fucked off a team mate....never showed one up on the field or in a press conference...and in the last two games he could have his choice of teammates who are fucking up and he is paying the price.

They shouldn't wait until mid season....fuck this guy off now...move Spags up as interim.

100% this.

Say what you want about Eli, but he always takes the blame. MacAdoo could learn a lesson or two from him.

Yep...I have one foot on board the 'McAdoo has to go' boat...I'll give him the season though. I look back on the Coughlin years fondly, but I don't regret making the change. His message had grown stale and the team was underperforming. I do wonder what McAdoo would be able to do with a decent offensive line. But, by the time we get one, we'll need a new QB too.

To me, if I'm Beckham...I'm either holding out for a king's ransom or I'm walking to a team that'll actually be competitive once my rookie deal is up. I can't see him hanging around this mess.

How much film does someone need to watch to know Flowers isn't getting it- he'll never get it- the tackle who fell on his ass before the snap (can't remember his name) has better technique- he makes Pettigout look like a HOFer.

If that someone is McAdoo.....basically one series of last nights game...I mean why do we have a fullback if he isnt going to at least chip the guy who rolls Flowers 3 out of 4, 5 step drops.

He is bad....got it...now....help the fucker.

I do think that a FB or TE out of the backfield chipping on Flowers side could be beneficial...but that's only a short term solution. Sooner or later, teams will realize this and line up their defense to overload the right tackle. It's a giant problem that doesn't have an easy solution.

Well he was talking about the delay of game as being sloppy play... Smart play

I'm a little concerned that we have a head coach who actually considered NOT making that a one score game. I mean, seriously, the Giants were in position to tie the ball game the very next series...if not for the Marshall drop on the sidelines.

The problem is that when we started keeping guys in we were sending out three receivers into 6 db coverage. That's how Eli gets sacked after holding onto the ball so long.

I know people don't like to shuffle the o-line around and this isn't good for the teams leverage at contract time but I think we need to move Pugh to LT. we can't have strip sacks from the blind side, Eli just doesn't have the instincts to always feel it coming. If flowers goes to the right side at least there are fewer surprises and he's not constantly going up against the best pass rusher.

We know he can't handle the left side and we know we can't keep people in to help every play. We're running out of in season options and we need to try something
