Not a football last name. It's like having a head coach named "Nancy" or "Phyllis."

Hasn't worked out very well for Ereck Flowers either.

do you think ereck flowers parents wanted to name him Eric, but figured since he was conceived by an erection, they'd change the spelling?

Or they're just black and can get away with naming and spelling their children anything they want and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

I've said this many times, if I were black, I'd name my kid televisionset and say it's pronounced Jack and nobody would say a goddamn thing

A certain class my Brother...

My first name is Welsh...middle name English... last name French

My oldest daughter's name is Cheyenne... traditional spelling

My youngest daughter's name is Sierra...traditional spelling

Again you come from a certain station in life you don't ad lib with something as basic as a name. When people ask me the spelling of my children's names I ask them how they would spell it. No one ... even Whites spell them the traditional ways. Now there are two interpretations...they see me and assume its some project based variation like Shyan or Ciera or some such illiterate drivel... or they just don't know how to spell it. I guess it depends on context and environment. If I am outside of my professional arena people think its the ghetto/project based spelling and vice versa. Middle Class and up... we tend to look at parents with wild ass spellings with disdain... and we look at the kids with sympathy. Try to get a Wall St job with the name Shyqueatha or some nonsense. ;)

defiler, you know me a while..you know it's satirical.

But the creativity of names and the the spelling of names by any ignorant person, no matter the race, never ceases to amaze or amuse me.

How have you been, by the way? It's been a while..hope all is well

Oh no Bro... all in good fun... I know... been rough man... work, teaching, kids and the PhD... cut back on the bitches... so that has been a relief. Have one steady now... even she is looking shaky. Came back last week...been meaning to peek in here. Changed agencies back in November... my old agency did more monitoring than the CIA...including the execs. My new place... well I bet I could download snuff porn from the darknet and no one would know or probably care as long as the work is done. :D

well, I'm happy to see that you're posting again. Juggling multiple women is a headache.. especially when you're getting older.

I'd still like to get together sometime.. pm me and let me know if and when you're free

Report: Signs point to Patriots defensive coordinator Patricia becoming next Giants coach

Signs are reportedly pointing to New England Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia becoming the next head coach of the New York Giants.

Peter King of TheMMQB.com reported that while the Detroit Lions want to hire the 43-year-old Patricia to fill their head-coaching vacancy, Patricia favors the Giants.

During the Patriots' playoff bye last week, Patricia interviewed with the Giants, Lions and Arizona Cardinals. But there are strong indications he prefers the Giants to the Lions, according to the New York Daily News.

Patricia and Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels interviewed separately on Friday in Foxborough, Mass., with a group from the Giants led by president and co-owner John Mara, new general manager Dave Gettleman and assistant general manager Kevin Abrams.

Patricia has been a member of the New England coaching staff since 2004 and the team's defensive coordinator for the past six seasons. He has been with the Patriots for three of their five Super Bowl victories, as well as their losses to the Giants in Super Bowls XLII and XLVI.

This season, the Patriots' defense ranked 29th in the NFL in yards allowed (366.0), but a much more impressive fifth in scoring defense (18.5 points per game). Only one of the Patriots' final 12 opponents scored more than 24 points.

For the second consecutive season, New England allowed just six rushing touchdowns, the league's second-lowest total. Patricia's 2016 defense finished as the No. 1 scoring defense in the NFL by allowing only 15.6 points per game.

Patricia originally joined the Patriots in 2004 as a coaching assistant and the next season he served as assistant offensive line coach. In 2006, Patricia shifted to the Patriots' defensive staff, spending five seasons as the linebackers coach and one year coaching the safeties.

The Giants continue to conduct interviews. Recently fired Denver Broncos running backs coach Eric Studesville was scheduled last Thursday, but a snowstorm forced the team to postpone the meeting until Wednesday.

Studesville is the sixth candidate to interview with the Giants, joining their interim head coach Steve Spagnuolo, Patricia, McDaniels, Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur and Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Steve Wilks. The team also asked for permission to interview Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, but an interview has not been scheduled.
