Giants vs the Bye Week thread.

37 - 13 Bye Week unfortunately.

Barkley and OBJ keep putting up numbers and doing everything they can to win, but it's not enough to beat the Bye Week.

Solder gives up 4 sacks, Henendez looks lost as fuck as he normally does.

The commentators continue to ignore Eli's drastic regression by blaming it on the Oline.

Engram drops two easy catches in the endzone.

Collins still cant cover the slowest TEs in the game and gets burnt deep, makes one good tackle in garbage time and the commentators cant stop saying "How good of a player he is"

An ageing Jenkins remembers he cant play corner and gives up a couple easy TDs.

Getty wastes another 15 million dollars in cap after the game signing David Diehl to try and get some help at Oline only to realize he's retired.

Mara blames the whole mess on "the fans" saying they "forced his hand" to keep Eli, reporters remind him he owns the team and can do whatever he wants, like all the other owners in the NFL do.

Eli beats his wife in front of the press at the podium stating "I'd rather take a pounding in jail with my buddy Lulu than get sacked 70 times this season"

Any other predictions?

In all honesty though, really looking forward to the LA v New OHleans game.

Detriot and Minnesota should be a good one as well.

Big game in Pittsburgh and Baltimore, I'm sure Bell is hoping the Steelers lose out but looks like they haven't missed a beat without him.

LMAO no you nailed it... although in Hernandezs defense when the guy to your left sucks and the guy to your right sucks, its understandable you look lost out there... other than that youre pretty spot on.

Yeah I've been tough on Hernandez, but honestly he's the only one on the Oline who actually makes consistent blocks in the run/pass game and another year under his belt he's just going to get better.

Like you said when you cant trust/know what the guy to the left and right of your are going to do on line, it's not going to end well.

A week off from watching our Giants lose is a good week. I'm tired of the losing and ready for the organization to turn it around.

I wanted a complete rebuild from the moment Coughlin left, should of just blown the entire thing up then.

Mara is reaping what he soed? Sowed? Sowededed?

This is what happens when your owner thinks he can just hold that playoff window open while trying to do the same thing all those losing years.

Also, Famous Jamis in TB is also holding that team back, having to turn to Fitzy because he just cant get it together.

Weird how so many teams, Giants included, are held back by QB play.

Difference being the other teams actively try to find solutions and play other QBs, regardless of where their projected starter was drafted or how many Super Bowls they won. Giants fans bitched until Mara made Mcadoo put Manning back in.

We bitched because they benched him for Geno....

Oh that kid the Saints have.

Hill?

The QB/WR/RB/return and special teams ace.

Wouldn't mind having someone like that on the team.

With how much the college game has evolved the QB to be the most athletic guy on the field, wonder if it's going to become more of a thing.

Which is ridiculous. You make changes when your quarterback sucks. You do something to spark your team. You do the opposite of what the Giants have done.

It wasnt a spark though, we might as well have been giving the start to Brandon Weeden.

Webb was a spark, Geno wasnt.

Oh and I still laugh at the fact that Mara was so easily swayed by the fans.

No wonder why the team is in the state that it is in, if Mara can be manipulated by the "fans"
