Well first real season watched.

Like the title states this 09 season was pretty much my first full year of trying to catch every Jays game as I could and I enjoyed trying to learn the finer points of baseball. I thought it was an alright season although we lost alot of games in the 7th with only needing one run to win it, but I guess thats what separates the teams in the playoffs and the ones watching in October. Firing Ricciardi from GM and hiring Anthopoulos as his replacement will hopefully help this team in the offseason and help us become a playoff team.

Look forward to next year and good luck to the teams in the hunt for the World Series.

Did you go to any games, BIC?

Unfortunatly no, infact during the summer I went the opposite way of Toronto and went visiting family in Western Canada. A number of years back when my dad was working in Toronto I would go watch games almost every weekend because ticket prices were good enough just to show up and buy acouple. I know I'll be down that way next summer so I'm planning on going to a few games in 2010.

The Blue Jays put up a good fight. Your pitching was devastated though...just like last year...so there's not much you could've done. Plus Alex Rios, who if you look at him, should be an amazing fucking player, took an astounding leap backwards. Again. It's promising to see the offense that some of your younger guys provided though (Lind, Snider, Hill). You definitely should have traded Halladay though. That was your biggest mistake and it could have repercussions next year.

Some day there will be a salary cap and you'll have a chance against the greedy bastards.

blu, you know as well as I do that payroll doesnt mean youre going to win...besides, there is no reason that every team, no matter how small the market, cant have at least an 80 million dollar..and thats without the cheapskate multimillionaire owner coming out of his own pocket....then, skies the limit.

my team doesn't play in the tilted AL East, Ditto. we're talking about the Blue Jays. try and follow.

Oh, you meant the AL east! In what paragraph did you explain that?

If I remember right, it was the Blue Jays who started the super high salaries when they paid Delgado 20 mil a yr. forcing Texas to pay Arod 25 mil. You can correct me if I'm wrong.

Now you're talking about ancient history. I was referring to the latest surge. I thought I explained that in the 3rd paragraph. Try and follow! :P
