Backing up Eli Manning – The idle life behind the NFL's most durable QB

That was a great read... and actually backing up Eli is the best possible thing for Geno. Worst thing that happens is he gets paid for 2 years and never takes a snap of the ball... if he can actually use the time to learn how to be a QB in the mean time, maybe in 2 years he gets a shot with another team and can actually contribute. The guy has physical skills, just horrible decision making

That was a good read...speaks that he's one hell of a teammate and shows the leadership behind the scenes. Thing that sucks is that at 36, he's certainly in the twilight of his career. I really hope this Webb kid pays attention and gets it in the next 2 or 3 years...because the QBs that play into their 40s...well...don't tend to play much more than that...at least not well.

I don't think that is true anymore. No QB wants to play into his 40s on a bad team, it is physically punishing.
